Possible Electrical Glitch?

on my way to Disney today I happened to be keeping up with a GTR and a G37 at a steady 95 for 15 minutes until we went opposite directions. After 5 minutes or so my car started honking and my high beams light flashing on my dash, I immediately pulled over and checked the oil, coolant, and the sound when I revved the engine. Nothing was smoking and everything was in the clear, but I waited 5 minutes before I could start driving again, as my own personal precaution. What in the hell could it have been? Im hoping some strange glitch for going so fast for a steady period of time, but the car wasnt overheating and that was my first concern. Absolutely terrifying to feel helpless on such a major highway.

Thats what I was figuring and it was crowded and warm but always worth it!

I really dont think the speeding and your issue have anything to do with each other. Check if you need a new battery or if a connection to terminal is loose

Sounds like the alarm went off. What made it stop?

I pulled the car over and turned it off, and it kept beeping for 30 more seconds. I turned the car back on, checked everything out and started driving again and it immediately went back on. After waiting maybe 10 minutes, I started it again and it was fine since.

No, thats the strange thing, I keep the key in my cup holder and nothing touches it.
