Possible Catastrophic Problems

Does the clunk get faster with rpm's? If so, I don't think that would be a motor mount. A bad mount would only clunk under load when the motor shifted. So if you gunned it, it would clunk from torque. But it wouldn't have anything to do with rpm. I've had a bad motor mount before.

I would replace it if it's indeed bad, but I wouldn't pay the dealer to do it. Take it to an indy mechanic or do it yourself, it's not terribly hard.

dont pay the 800, take it to a mechanic they will charge way less or diy.. If you want we can meet up and i can inspect if the motor mount is busted. Ive had mine change 6 times already lol

Okay so just got a call from Miller Infiniti and NO CODES were thrown by the car.
They said one of my left motor mounts is bad and that is why the clunking comes in under heavier acceleration from the load on the engine - what do you guys think, does that sound right? Pay the $800 to get it replaced? deal with it? do it myself? I can live with the noise if it isnt going to mess with my engine.
The engine tachometer moving and rough idle - they said they could not find anything or replicate the problem. I think i am just very sensitive with the car and can feel it, someone who is just hopping in the car will probably not notice?
However, im skeptical as to why these TWO different problems would appear at the same time?????
In advance, thank you guys for your help! @stulax18, I think I might do that!

I told them to go back and let the car idle and watch the tachometer - and try and figure out whats going on, they did all this bs which I could care less about, just wanted to know about those problems.. stoked at the initial no codes:rotfl:, maybe a bad sparkplug????

check your coils and spark plugs especially the 2 rear ones, you might have flooded with oil due to bad valve cover gasket.

Also i told you about miller lol, but its still better tham fraud glendale infiniti

Yup I am picking one up from glendale infiniti this evening for $192 (miller infiniti wanted $850 or something to replace) and then heading to a buddies to replace. But yes clunk gets faster with RPMS, havent really tested because I have been babying it under 2k rpms since friday. I paid for a 140 for a full inspection to be done so I assume they diagnosed correctlly, plus no codes were thrown. Will replace tonight and start a new thread if not fixed but im hopeful this will be the solution. MODS YOU CAN CLOSE THANKS
