Posi Quiet Brake Pads by CENTRIC vs Akebono Pro-ACT Ceramic

I switched from Akebono to Posi Quiet. I wanted to let people know that from my experience, Posi quiet has much less stopping "power" than Akebono. The pads seem to fade faster and don't stop as fast.

I would compare Posi Quiet to OEM performance.

On the plus side, Posi Quiet has very little brake dust, and minimal noise.

Yes.

I don't mean any offense by this, but why wouldn't they? I live in Chicago and they have seen all seasons.
