Hey guys,

Have any of you ever heard of putting filler ( I.e. the poly pillow stuffing) in a sub box?
i have a magic box from wicked CAS with a 10" JL ,but to be honest, the walls of it are thin as hell.
Apart from dyna-matting the inside(which sounds like a pain in the Jacobs)that is what a dude told me I could try.

Thoughts?

Polyfill will do very little to reduce resonance in an enclosure. It is usually more used for effectively growing the volume of your enclosure. In most cases it will reduce the efficiency of your enclosure if it is not needed.

Polyfill is generally used in enclosures when the box is too small for subwoofers air requirement. As in; your subs optimal air space is 1cft, your box is only .75 cft, you generally will stuff polyfill into the box slowing the waves down making in act like a bigger box. Nothing to do with how rigid or strong your walls are.
