Another member (Kieranlavin) from the .org and I are doing the North Course of Pocono International Raceway on June 1st, Sunday.

I think he's going to be an instructer that day, he does this stuff all the time. It's going to be my first time on a road course, so we'll see what happens. I wish all my track crazy friends from the Scene could join me :biggrin:. I'll keep you guys updated.

Cant wait to see this - Doc & GTO did a road course back in December and it looked fun....You'll enjoy it Turk!!!
 
Check the track surface before you commit. Our tires were rubbish after the runs. I didnt care too much cuz I hated my RSAs & they were at there ends anyway, but Doc's Yok's took a nice beating too. I felt bad for his setup. For the life of me, I cant figure out why the people who organize these events cannot give us a good surface to waste our money & rubber on.

Wow, very cool pic Dave. Your FX looks really tough.

If I remember correctly, isn't that the same issue they had at the Performance Nissan meet, the bad road surface? That sucks.

Well, it's almost time. Bought a helmet today. It's RCI, it's probably a starters helmet or something :laugh:...and they didn't have it in DG :rolleyes::tongue:...so it's white.

Got drilled & slotted rotors and pads from Rotorpros, they're already on the FX, looks nice.

Getting excited :smile:.
 
I thought the same thing at first Dave :err:.

I ordered the premiums with black hubs...or whatever they're called. But the rotors comes with some sort of a protective film, it wears off after driving a bit :smile:.
