Plastidip

Done it many times with and with out removing the handle. You can squeeze the painters tape to get under the handle and escutcheon, fromthere just tape up everything and I used newspaper to cover overspray. The process to remove the handle is so easy you should just do that. **note: I don't have keyless, but isn't it just a button?

I did my grill 2-3 years ago and it is still holding up nicely. I put 4-5 coats on at the time and been through Chicago winters, multiple road trips to California and back, and used many different power washers/car washes. I have done my wheels two different times now. Unfortunately they don't seem to last as long because they get a lot of wear being close to the road (rocks, dirt, snow, salt, etc). I would recommend doing the wheels though if you are okay with touching them up on a regular basis. Maybe putting the clear coat over the black would also help protect the color/look better? I haven't used the clear coat.

I used the gloss over my plastic dip and it looks nice. it's not really too glossy, but it's decent, and has much darker look and doesn't look faded
 
The keyless entry buttons should be fine, you should be able to just trim/peel the excess dip. I've wrapped mine in vinyl and I just trimmed around the buttons. Dip should be the same process, they're sealed so it's not like the dip will get inside.
 
So today I finally decided to plastidip my rims after having the rims powder coated two years ago and I had some curb rash on two of them and the other has the clear coat chipping off. However the clearcoat chipped off big time on one and I would here and there take a piece off the clearcoat. I decided to do a test run and see how it came out and possibly in the fall do it over but a dark gunmetal color and after I take off the clear coat of all the rims that ways it's a smooth surface to plasti dip. Thanks Wayne, next time I do them I will take the rims off and take my time with them. Today I kind do rushed it bc out of nowhere it appeared it was going to rain and a few sprinkles started coming down half way thru the third coat.
 
Make sure you do a MINIMUM of 5 coats. It will look great after 3, but try for 6. You'll thank me when it's time to remove it.
I do at least 6 coats on anything I plasti dip now.
 
I did 5 coats. I'm going to do them over in the fall bc I'm also going to put a clear coat. I just wanted to see how they looked now.
 
It was just the regular black plastidip that I picked up at Home Depot. I will be peeling it off in a month or toe and do them over and take my time and also make them a little shiny.

I thought anthracite was a lot lighter, around a medium grey.
I think Oscars looks black, at least on my computer. I'm thinking of doing mine this winter after seeing Oscars.

That's what I'm talking about Wayne. Plus it's a very cheap investment.
