Plastic Dip

Hello guys!

I am thinking about doing plastic dip (Matte Black) on my grill and my stock 20s.

what do you guys think about the plastic dip?

Have anyone done it? If so, Could you post some pics up?

There is a few post in regards to plasti dip, here is one. Hopefully it will help you make a decision.

Personally, this was one of my first MODs but a year later removed it all and did a gunmetal paint job. It looked good fresh but this stuff starts to age/fade and get dirty fast lol.

I've done it, mine came out very nice. It does fade over time, I would add a layer or two over time. It did change the whole look of my car and i could not be happier for such a budget friendly mod.

I've used mate black Plastidip to paint the grill of my FX35. It's very smooth and strong coating. It's optimal to paint with 3 or 4 layers if you want to make a strong and qualitative coat.

i wouldnt recommend plastidip on the grill area, if you wipe it with a cloth it leaves fibers all over. Wheels ive done it many times and i like it its ok, it feels grainy, looks textured and under the sun it looks grey/yellow. Id say do it and add many coats you can so it can be easier to peel off.

Well, you just can use a micro-fiber cloth and there won't be any fibers :good:
