Plasti Dip Project..

That is awesome stuff!
Good upgrade for my wheels also, i was thinking already to get them painted black but now it is DIY-able!!
Really looking forward to see pics from the grill as well!

lol so i just tried the plasti dip on my file cabinet on my office lol in red haha everybody thought i permanent painted my file box. But after 10 min i peeled it off no problem, and i even cleaned it with soap and water before pilling it and nothing happened.. Just to make sure you could clean on it and everything! So then i just peeled it off... So next my fx.............

File cabinet....good testing object!! :-)

As i was reading a bit about it where it is really ment for this must be strong stuff.
For example, the coat the handles of tools with it to get better grip, and as an isolation layer against electric current etc.

As a electrician I would not trust plastic dip to protect you from electrical shock while working on live circuits, trust me they have special tools for that and they are not cheap, with that being said they provide grip and insulation but nothing major, still a good product though.

Bubito hurry up and paint them rims I wanna see how they come out lol
I was just at home depot the other day.. damn should I picked some up. I'll grab some this week. Thinking of doing my stocks black, but I'll do them over the summer when their all cleaned up.

bubito, are you going to dip and then color over top or just dip? I think color on top would be best and you can still peel it off... Can't wait to see what you're grill will look like.. I'm thinking of painting mine black this spring.

well yeah you can dip and then paint no problem! but i only have 3 cans in black and 1 can in red so i don't have enough black cans to paint my wheels they say you need 1 can per wheel... so i was planing on doing small stuff on the car maybe grill, vents, emblem... ext maybe roof racks lol or even plasti dip my roof who knows :P

Now i remembered i've seen a 350Z for sale which was completly coated with a removable coating.
That must have been plasti dip also and it looked really good.

Now i start thinking to do the complete car in plasti dip, would there be any issues i could struggle with?
Will be a lot of fucking around to get all windows etc protected with paper and tape or something....

 i was already trying to photoshop a 2 tone, OEM gray and with hood and roof black.
