Plasti Dip Interior Trim

Since the interior trim in my FX was a little old and fading i decided to give a different look. So, i got me some plastidip and went ahead and painted the center console and the door handle trim. The red interior in the BMW M3 e46 has always fascinated me so i used Red and Black just to see if i could match it. Of course, the seats would need to be done red too but, that will have to wait. So check it out:

Wow that looks really good. How the durability though. Plasti dip is meant to scratch off easily

That actually looks pretty good. How does it feel when ou touch it?

feels like touching rubber.

well its been a while since i did my wheels (last summer actually) and i havent had any problem with them, even when i wash my car using a powerwasher doesnt seem to affect it at all. I think is actually very durable.

Nice work. If you ever plan on doing the seats, try the DIY black suede headliner install too. The look is fantastic!

I want to Dye the seats red, I saw a post on the g35 forums where a member did it to his car and the result was really nice.

looks sick and did everything just pop right off?

Pretty much, yes. Only the trim on the sides of the center console has screws. Easy work:top:

In op he said hell paint the controls too so the strip might look outta place
