Hey Guys, I plasti dipped my grill, door handles, emblems, and wheels and they're holding up like they just were done. If you're thinking about wrapping, try plasti dip first. It is inexpensive and you can't mess up your car.

Here are some pics of my car recently. NOTE : i have a spec in my camera lens so those black marks are from my camera.

Thanks! I'd say 4 or so. I did 5 or 6 coats on each wheel. Just buy 5 cans just incase. It doesnt hurt to have extra

Thanks! i appreciate it. Now on to other mods hopefully.

Its plasti dip so you use news paper and blue masking tape to make a inch to two inch perimeter around the area ur spraying and do 2-3 light coats and go heavy on the last one or two coats depending how many coats u want. Then its just simply using a tooth pick get inside the emblems and drag the dip away from the emblems. go to youtube and look for fonzie at dipyourcar. he has a bunch of tutorials

looks good bro! time to derail? also black out those bumper reflectors and do the rear lights.will look even better

I was looking at doing this to my wheel on my copper FX. How much time did it take to do it, and also when you spray did you spary inside the rim or just the outside.

Hey man, i did the same thing, however the handles are pealing off, how did you manage to get them covered all over... i'm planing to do the rims this weekend and wanted to re-do the handles. Please advise...

I sprayed the outside, I didnt do the opposite side. It took me about a few hours to prep and spray. I just opened BIG garbage bags, Layed each rim on its own Bag and sprayed them all. I used about 4-5 cans

Hey man yeah mine are pretty much peeling as well. I just touch them up every now and then. Some people take the whole entire handle off. But that requires a decent amount of work which IMO it's not worth it. Just keep touching up the top and the bottom and the whole thing and you'll be fine!
