Thanks!!! No brother its just covers for now. I'm going to Dallas on Aug. 2 to AWD Tuning to retune my uprev because I added fast intentions test pipes and an X pipe. Then I want to get the H&R springs with the Megan Racing camber control set so I dont wear out my tires. Then finally I'll paint the factory calipers.

With the fast intentions nonresonated test pipes ? the sound isn't it so loud ? do you have noise ? the exhaust gas don't smell gasoline
I have an Invidia gemini and my cat is tired (it move)... I need to remplacee them but the original cat is too expensive...
I'm looking for the HFC (invidia) but it's expensive too.

I love the sound of Gemini but I don't want more "noise" when I'm on highway.

Hey sorry for the late reply but I'm out of state on training.
So the fast intentions non-resonated test pipes are $290. With my set up there is absolutely no drone. Its quite at highway speeds. I have the HKS exhaust but with the Invidia X pipe. I had Invidia prior and just cut the center X pipe out and reused it. The HKS came with and H pipe and I didnt like it. Now there was a bad exhaust smell pre tune because it was running very rich but after the tune that was corrected and its not bad at all. I hope this helps.

Do you know if make the decat make more noise?
And some people tell, it's not good because you don't have "against pressure"

Yes mine is louder on start up and then when leaving red lights or stop signs but as for regular drive time its no louder than just the exhaust. And with regards to back pressure, your muffler is sufficient enough for that.

I was wondering if you knew which of the long tube versions of your intake (Z1 Motorsports RACE Cold Air Intake Kit) would be best to purchase? I know some say the g37 and others say 370 i just dont know if the difference in length is significant if any.
Also any reason why you didn't go with the long tubes as opposed to yours.

Hey Dio, Z1 Motorsports 370Z / G37 Cold Air Intake Kit, Performance OEM and Aftermarket Engineered Parts Global Leader In 300ZX 350Z 370Z G35 G37 Q50 Q60 - Z1 Motorsports, this is the one I used. The 370/G37 uses the same product. And man what a difference it makes over my previous intake.
So I used just the first half of the intake because I didnt think that entire long tubes would work on our vehicles. However, on another thread, a member just fitted the entire kit on a QX so its definitely possible.

Thanks for the response. I saw the thread and it looked like so much work to complete compared to yours. I was thinking of the long tubes since I'd get cooler air in but with this NYC weather i'm hesitant.
It seems like most companies don't really work on QX's and we have to modify/testfit all our parts on our own hoping it'll work with little to no issues arising. I hit up Z1 about their plenum and still no verification it would just bolt on atleast not really caring for the gains as i know a tune would be needed. Yeah Ive seen that. I would really like to get that and the ported lower but i hate the idea of sending mine first. My QX is my daily driver and it would be down while i wait and i cant have that. Then after I would have to drive to dallas(4hrs) to an awd tuner that i use to retune it. Hell thats $500 more dollars. Ima have to pass for now but maybe a future project right!

Hi PJ, I know this discussion is old but where if you can remember, where did you get your break covedrs from - I have only just bought a 2015 QX70 and am looking into modification now.

If I remember correctly, it was from auto anything.com.
