We were hit with some serious hail back on the 3rd. I am actually lucky, the FX had only 5K in damage where as our truck which was at my husbands office 1/4 away suffered almost 9K!!! I guess this is what I get for admiring just how clean mine was for her age!!! I am just so excited about getting her back. I have been in a Sonata and although I was actually impressed with it for what it was... it smells and every time I step into a parking lot, I have no clue what I am looking for! There is literally no recognition!
This was some of the smaller hail

I have no idea how, but the only thing that could be repaired with PDR was the hood which they replaced. I am bummed but excited, I know how hard silver can be to color match.

Wow, that's a lot of damage. I bet you just can't sit still knowing you'll get your baby back today.

I see bad news :skull:... {scrolled},.. I see good news :smile (2):. Butter smooth silver again.

I was reading over the adjusters estimate and basking in the glory of his notation under condition... "Excellent"!!!!! The Chevy only got a "Good" and it is newer with less miles :)

I was hoping to get the lower plastic pieces of the bumpers color matched but the dealership wouldn't do it for me. Concerned about how the paint would hold up and said it would look like crap after a while. Any one have any suggestions on how to do it? I have seen a few on there and I think it looks amazing.
