Haha nice! Hey question I'm doing loads of research and I keep seeing posts for valve body failures. Is this common or is this the internet just magnifying this issue?
The QX70 I'm picking up has 73k miles and I plan on getting the tranny fluid replaced right away.

Sorry but I can't speak to the valve body failure; I haven't reached 60k yet. I did do the transmission flush and did the differential fluids at the same time with Redline oils all around.
You have a 2016 w 60k miles? Sweet!
yes do the service often
some say 30k
don't know about a flush
but they get pretty dirty over 90k
Nice, 73k is low
should have had service at 30k and 60k
i just passed 100k and the speed sensor failed ( plus very dirty )
had to replace the valve body, which includes TCM and sensors all inside the tranny
reman if you find one is over 650 up to 1,200 and service is another 750
the service kit also 300 ... the fluid alone is 300
take good care!
