Peripheral iSimple install

Here's a great DIY (for nav-TV) from the ORG, but has great pictoral step-by-step instructions on how to remove the dash and head unit. This saved me a lot of time:

And, the Peripheral unit will work great. I prefer to leave it on Aux 1 and sacrifice on-screen display for full control through the iPod. This allows for much quicker access to my music, and also allows the passenger to play games while still listening to music on long trips.

thanks for that link to infiniti .org that help me a lot and the install is complete. Now i just need to figure out how to select a play list or select a artist and i will be golden

Sorry, can't answer that question for sure. I have a 2005. Satellite radio was not available in Canada till late 2006 or 2007. I think the Canadian models were pre-wired for sat, but don't think it has all the components for it. Anyway, you don't have to disconnect any satellite module during the install, so I don't see why not. Send Peripheral an email...they could tell you for sure if it'll work alongside XM.
