Is it worth it to reflash the ecu with my set up and have it tuned? or should I hold off till i decide to get headers(maybe)? What shall I do?

stillen cat back
lms intake
crawford plenum

Our cars are not that sensitive to upgrades like...say a Subaru. I would wait until you are done throwing on bolt-ons and then have it tuned.

Think twice about the headers. They make your car a lot louder. Read more about headers in the :iS: before you proceed. This is coming from someone who has headers on.

yeah man, when I did my stillen exhaust the fx wasn't too loud, but now I did headers & it's pretty damn loud... been considering adding a set of supertrapps to quiet it down a bit now, & that's even with stock cats:frown: almost everyone with headers say's the same thing... it's pretty loud... especially under more than half throttle... not many going back after the fact, but I think I've even seen one or 2 guys actually remove them after too...

the problem with headers are that they are so Damn hard to get in and out, people would rather live with the loudness than go through the hassle of taking the headers out.

Also, if you are considering doing FI later, the Headers are going to effect your boost.

yeah, I know, I did my headers myself. whole lot of fun that is:biggrin: I did them cause I'm going FI too... wouldn't want to take them back out, but def would like to quiet it down a bit... as it is now, on the weekends with the wife & kid in the car I drive like a little old lady so I don't have to nail it & listen to the loud exhaust... I do love it during the week though when I'm alone in the car & floor it all over the place though:tongue:

Mine acctually sets off car alarms when I'm in parking structures. at least a few go off on each floor.

I havent set off any alarms......and under normal driving its not too much louder. Its when your at WOT when it starts screaming.....I think headers are a good addition.

Viet can do it - and so can Eg3....he will let you borrow it if you meet the guidelines

I had a break on offering it as a service because I was out of the country and I had to move my apartment when I came back. The service is still on. The guidelines are simple, not limiting and offers protection for both the loaner and me. See below:
