Pearl :: 2007 Acrua TL

Ya, I love the Type S too. At the time I couldn't afford it. And now looking back, I basically made mine as close to it as I could w/out doing all the suspension and engine upgrades. Anyhow, I guess I'm glad I didn't get too much into it as now I have to get something that rides a bit higher. It'll be nice to get an FX and to see what I can do with it.

Hot car dude.
The thing flies. Front drive can get dicey with all the power, but in a straight line, thing is creamy smooth. Used to get those as a loaner if I called my SA in adv. I have an 01 mdx. Still going strong

Pretty sure there's a thread comparing the refresh or just goes through the history. Have you tried the search, or can someone link it here? I'm 'ng.
Reliability is really the same. I think the biggest changes are the brakes are slightly bigger at 06+, but not by much. '03 also has a stiffer ride. If 1st gen before mid cycle
Refresh, get an 05. The seats are perf'd and lights are clear on sport

Brakes are updated but they are not bigger. They are thicker, and the calipers were updated to a 2-pot system.

Other than that interior is wayyy nicer, and the exterior got a minor facelift.

Interior is subjective. I do like mine very much. Older also has less exterior chrome. That's actually a good thing, and fogs are visually bigger on older

Gauges are
For sure better on 06

Overall, all of the first gen are all good and I wouldn't walk away from a good deal on a mint ride

Great info guys! Thanks a lot. This helps. I was trying to stick to a 1st Gen 07/08 but now I'm not too picky on the year. Good deal w/low miles I'm all good. I'm not going to be too much worried about thicker brakes. As I drive 10 miles round trip daily and I won't be tracking/racing the damn thing. If I did that, I might buck up and go w/a BBK. I'll definitely do some more searching on IS too. Thanks!

Very nice and clean. I love the white exterior and black tint combination. I am currently looking at a 2014 white E350 right now to add to the garage!

Beautiful TL!! You have a fine taste Sir!
Like GTO and others said 1st gen pre and post facelift is just a matter of personal preference when it comes to visual differences. A few small things like 03/04 was truly fully loaded with standard features that were slightly "shaved off" after 2005. Center console pre face lift passenger/driver slider pieces, I like that better than after facelift replaced with one solid piece. Speed cluster and gear shifter are nicer on 06+, but can be replaced/retrofitted on 03+, NAV display is nicer,
Exterior wise pretty much the same, the door rocker paneling changed to thicker chrome, front bumper got a chrome strip between fogs, different grille, rear chrome infiniti name strip above the license plate, lettering got smaller/closer together, clear tailights, trunk space difference in tonneau cover, head rests got bigger on 05+ in the front seats, intelligent key fob is a square brick changed to a nicer 'water drop' design in 05, engine cover changed too, wheel design, just what I can remember ... Other than that solid car from day one.

Nice I've been checking out a couple of these. I might end up with a 3rd car. Just not sure what kind yet. I just know I will stick with foreign cars.
