After a big rain fall i noticed that my passenger floor is getting wet. It's not a puddle or anything but when i feel the carpet it's wet. anyone know where that usually comes from? Is it the sunroof? How can i get this fixed? thanks in advance for any help

Did you have a custom sound system setup where they would run a thick power cable to the rear to power the after market amp? If so, most likely the water could leaking from the entry point where they pork a hole into the rubber boot on the harness behind the battery compartment. If not, there could be a clogged sunroof drain hose. Open the sunroof check if there any leaves or debris blocking the drain hole in the corner. If not use a garden hose, run some water into the hole and check for leaks in the passenger area.

Actually i did run a piece of 0 gauage from the battery to the back. If that is the issue is there anything i can do about it besides removing the wire. How would the water get in though if it was just sitting. I will also check my sunroof for debris by the drain hole

Just make sure you seal the rubber boot up nicely. Have you look into the rubber boot area to see if any trace of water? You probably still be able to see if that where the waters are coming in if you look under the dash where the cable comes in.
