Hi guys,
Last night the roads were very icy, and while I was braking to stop at a stop sign, the car started slipping and wouldn't stop, I tried putting it in neutral while still braking hard but still wouldn't stop, so I pushed the parking brake (hard) and it finally stopped.
I disengaged the parking brake and continued driving normaly. When I got to work I tried pushing the parking brake but nothing happen, the lever does not stay down when I push it, it just goes back up.
I read on some forums that the parking brake cable might be broken.
Do you guys now how much it costs and if it's an easy DIY or do I have to take it to the dealer?
