at the body shop, the guy told me that cause i put on some trim shinner on the plastic trims, it might of soaked into the trims and they are afraid that even sanding it, painting it would result to fish eye spots or flaking in the future. what can i do to remove it so it can get painted?

If Turbocad doesn't see this, send him a PM, he will know.

just clean it well, soap and water, a degreaser, etc... it's plastic, not a sponge, just clean and prep and use adhesion promoter and proper materials for plastic and it should be fine. plastics are never going to hold paint as well as metal because of the flexibility alone but it can still be done to be fine

What about some simple green at full strength? Or some tire cleaner that you would use before applying something like tuf-shine.
