Painted Roof Rail

I have seen both black and aluminum roof rails. I wanted to have mine chromed to match my door handles and grill, but never got around to it. After removing the roof rails you will have four bolts sticking up out of the roof. Painting and re-install should be easy.
 
I need black roof rails. So do you guys think I should try to get the stock black ones or try to paint the aluminum ones that I have now?

I'll trade you :) I'll even throw in the crossrails and I cover my shipping and vice versa.

it could be done JCserrano.. turbocad could tell you more about it.. he have a bodyshop. so he would know more or less all the steps you'll need to take to paint your roofrails.

Yo tengo Roof Rails Negras y como es dificil encontar en aluminio, yo pregunto si alguien de ustedes los ha pintado en color Silver.

I have Roof Rails Black and as it is difficult to locate in aluminum, I wonder if anyone of you has painted in silver color
 
de lo que yo se, nadie las a pintado de color aluminio. A la mejor en ebay puedes conseguir o alguien de aqui que tenga de aluminio y te quiera cambiar. Pero lo unico que el envio a EEUU seria muy caro.
