Threw the code once on the highway in the middle of the night going over a bump, next time I got the code and car, went into limp mode after sitting at a red light and trying to accelerate. I did some research and assumed it was the throttlebody so I bought a new throttlebody. Upon installation I noticed the main air hose between the mass airflow sensor, and the throttle body was torn. I taped up the hose and I’m going to order a new one. But that would not give me the code so I’m curious if anyone has ever had to change the pedal out? Before swapping the throttlebody if the pedal is actually what is wrong.

I thought you found a tear on the intake hose. What pedal are you referring to? Do you mean the butterfly valve (golden colored piece)? If so, I don't know of anyone one here when to that extreme to take apart the throttle body to replace just that valve.

No, the actual gas pedal. The system has a Gas Pedal Position sensor, and a Throttle Position Sensor in the Throttlebody. I found a tear in the 4 inch rubber air intake hose. I’m wondering if any one that has also Experienced the P2135 code, if the solution was the Gas pedal or the throttlebody. I taped the hose and will replace, but I’m sure the extra/dirty air that was just free flowing into the engine couldn’t have thrown the voltage code… or not. I’m not sure exactly I gotta get her into a shop
