OZ Racing Ultraleggera HLT

Just wanted to share the great news that i have some black ultraleggera's on the way. 20X8.5 so i can use the rubber i bought a few months back for my stockers. needless to say i am quite excited

i've only seen them so far on the copper fx and the blue fx. i'm thinkin its gonna look rreeaaaallll nice on my silver. especially with the blacked out grill, headlights (once they go in) and smoked reflectors and tails (also working on the tails now)

yea i'm FIRED up haha

i wanted to paint or powdercoat the stock 20's, but the chrome finish gave me the willies. a lot of local guys were nervous about trying to remove the chrome, and how well the finish would adhere to it. i had been looking at these wheels for a while, but couldn't justify the 2k just for rims. i got them on ebay for 1400, with tires. however they were on a G so the the tires are obviously to small. they were only used for a few thousand miles so i should be able to sell them for a couple hundred bucks anyway.

Congrats! Definitely want to see them in person some time.. I've been thinking of these wheels for a loong long time, even after getting the 22s...

oh yes. they do. gorgeous if i do say so myself. i'm diggin the look at that bar on the front too. will one of those mount up properly with my gt spec lower engine tie brace?

sounds good to me. we should start working on getting a meet together sometime in late march/ early april when the weather will be nice enough to be clean.

it's kind of funny i put in an offer just to see if it would accept it, thinking i'd have the option to buy or decline after. little did i know that submitting an offer was a committment to buy, should the seller choose to accept. so i wasn't really planning on getting these, until i entered into a binding contract. i'm sure i could have gotten out of it, but the way i see it i'll sell my stock chrome 20s, sell the rubber on the OZ, and sell of my 18s with rubber, and that will all fund the entire purchase.

I love those rims. If I could get them in 22's it'd be a done deal, but I would think at 22" it would be kinda weak considering the side-wall... I guess that'd be like the 20's on a G35.

i'de rther have these in 20's with nicer street tires then in 22. sometimes 22 is too flashy kind-of. and heavier
