outside door handle falling apart

My right rear passenger door handle is starting to go out on me. It's causing my door not to open from the outside.
When pulling on the handle ,it's really loose causing it to hang out 1/2 inch more then it should. Do you guys recommend placing both the outer chrome and also the inside of the handle connected to the actuator? Or do they come as one piece?
Gonna take it apart and see if i fix it myself.

fixed the problem by taking apart the whole handle, inside and out, clean all the dirt etc off of it. fits nice and tight now.
