Orlando Infiniti has a labor rate of over $140 an hour and they basically try to conceal that fact as best they can until you sign the bill. None of my invoices have a breakdown of labor costs per item replaced or the hourly rate. Dealerships are free to charge whatever rate they want. This is just a fair warning/head's up as I was caught out by a stuck thermostat and just happened to be in Orlando. It's your responsibility to ask but man I just didn't even think they'd be charging double what most other dealers do. There's a dealership in Lakeland, down the road on I4, not sure what their rates are. The rate at my local Infiniti dealership is less than half that. Service was fine, the labor rate was not. So if you are out of warranty, go elsewhere. And a big FU to the owner and his practices. Just greedy. I could have rented a car and had my car flat bed towed back to Fort Myers and fixed at my dealership for less than what I paid them.

Oh trust me I know. They charged $350 for a key copy alone! Luckily the Nissan dealer I bought the FX from was reimbursing. They were astonished at the rate though. Unfortunately for us Central Florida guys, they're the only Infiniti dealer within 70mi!

I got a warranty catalytic converter replaced, but they showed me the retail cost and it was almost $2k!! I fear for the day when I need a crucial repair and can't drive hours away. They are building a Lake Mary (N Orlando) dealership but I think it will be the same management.

Austin Infiniti is the only Infiniti dealership here in Austin, next one is close to San Antonio. Overall pretty happy with their service. Granted I've been there only twice in nearly 3 years, I've not had problem. Labor charge isn't that outrageous here though.

I thought my iPhone pulled up one in Lakeland? Seriously, you need something big, I'd drive to the Ft. Myers dealer!

Good to hear about the Austin dealer, I've considered moving to Austin.
