Opinions on Plastidip Emblems

I just plastidipped the 'Mt Fuji' emblem so is the 'FX35' on the rear. I don't know if I should also plastidip the 'infiniti' name plate on the chrome underneath or just remove the plastidip from all the emblems. Any suggestions?

I've thought about debadging the 'fx35' but the car is 6 years old and i'm afraid how it'll look once debadged. I've heard of 'shadowing' after debadging an older car.

I'm the odd man here, I am not really crazy about the plasti dip. I would rather see a bit of debadging and the rest done in a black chrome or a gunmetal finish.

Well if you started the emblem and the badging, then keep it consistent and 'dip the trim too.

Dip the rest. Would give it a more cohesive look.

I wonder what it would look like if I dipped the same chrome bits out back.. If it would better match the smoked tails.

Did mine last night. Not sure about door handles. Plan to remove fx35 soon. No fishing line

Debadged---I can't get the residue/old tape off. The letters came off the majority of the tape is still there. Tried goo gone and oops so far. No luck. a few Pieces have came off but not much :-(

I know this is a older thread but how did you remove the badges to plasti-dip them? Or did you just tape around them and spray it on while they were attached to the car? and how are you liking it so far??

Just plastidipped my rear Infiniti badge as well but I can't post pics yet

By chance did anyone ever first Plastidip (5- layers)---Primer----Black chrome the rear emblem and infiniti chrome accent? I was planning on doing this to my obsidian black fx35 but Im afraid it wouldn't look classy anymore. Opinions?
