Opinions Needed Please: Painting Railing

Sydney

Long story short, my wife is having some painting done to her car in the same charcoal color I used for mine ... I have the opportunity to get a significant price brake on getting the railing color matched. I'm really on the fence, I chose no originally but that was prior to seeing the final result. Tried chopping it and am still unsure. Any quick thoughts one way or the other would be greatly appreciated because I'm afraid I want to get it done now just because of the discount

- thanks!

Personally I like a little contrast giving it a touch of class and not the murdered out look.

I like the contrast of the railing on your ride. Leave it.

I appreciate the quick responses guys ... As soon as I posted this I realized I was feeling the same way... the discount was clouding my judgment, sort of felt like I needed to take advantage of the "savings". -Thanks

Thanks again for the good advice guys, much appreciated.

I say leave it as-is or pull em' (try that chop....).

Was curious and gave that a quick try earlier ... was actually surprised and wanted to share. I don't necessarily love it but it's not really all that bad either, really makes for quite a different look for removing such a minor part. Immediately thought of the X6 concept renderings a while back. Any way, just for kicks

I like those silver railings, always have. I like how it sets apart the sport FX's I guess.+1 on the look on black being better.

wow, I think the 2nd gen looks pretty good railess... the body has so much going on with all the added curves & the nose & the vents & everything that it holds it's own railess, the first gen is too plain smooth looking & really needs the rails to me I think

suggestion, find a sign company and buy some black glossy vinyle and WRAP it to get a temp look. that's if u can get it applied right without bubbles. shouldnt cost much since it's not much to wrap. beats painting if done right, and u can always undo it.

I Like the rails gunmetal, but I really like the murdered out look
