...and already i am starting to mod...:biggrin:..so i call the Mercedes dealership around the corner from me and ordered the led signal lights,they were $54 ea, cdn. so not too bad,i'm excited about doing that mod,wish me luck Turbocad :wink:...Then i got a dose of STEALership love,called up the Infiniti dealership a block from me and they want $147 cdn.for a set of dark grey mats:eek:,i asked for black they said they cant get black,any truth to any of this?:confused: cuz thats an awful lot for a set of plain floor mats....Then i said forget those,can i order the shifter plate for an 06 fx35,dude wants to sell me the ENTIRE panel,i explain that i only want the chrome shifter panel wth the leather boot and bottom piece that it bolts to,he says i have to buy the whole thing and he would need a vin # to order it WTF??:eek:...not sure how to proceed with that one,may have order it online or something but then ya get into shipping and broker charges and crap..any input on this would be appreciated,thanks in advance..

Oh snap!!,i thought there was a piece on the bottom that the chome plate bolts to..guess its just the chrome panel and the boot that bolt together then(?)..maybe i will call back and see if i need a vin # for jut that then LOL
 
someone correct me if i am mistaken, but i think they use your vin number to order the correct part for your car. in this case, you would not want them to order the shifter plate based on your vin, since you want a plate from a different model year.
