Actually that's the best -- you didn't give the gov an interest free loan.
I withhold as little as possible, invest my projected shortfall each paycheck, then pay the gov at tax time and have a few bucks left over I wouldn't have had.

Make more and then if you pay off a lot of your house down, less goes toward interest that you can write off. More money+less debt = much more taxes to uncle sam.
There are obviously ways to offset this even more by running businesses or having multiple apartment buildings for write-offs, which my parents do both, but I find putting my energy and time in other areas is more rewarding.
And we contributed to charity in 2011 so we though for sure we'd get a return, just didn't know how much. Funny we were already planning what we were going to do with our tax return.... HA! yeah right.

We both are set up as having dependents, so this part we didn't change at all....it was more so us paying off a lot of our house down.

Well BMW and Mercedes, maybe porsche (not sure) use osram. When i had my e92 m3 a while back it also had osram installed. Even Maybach had osram installed. High end german cars usually use osram. Morimoto is a cheap upgrade. Personally i see you got yellow fog tint or w.e ( not my taste) but you have to realize do you want white/blue or pure white color reflecting down the road>? Also the more you go up in kelvin rating the less output is reflecting onto the road ahead of you. 4300k shitty to me has the best output that is white/yellow. Next up 5k better than 6k definitely when it comes to output. Also you need d2s bulbs, just one bulb for low beam and high beam.

This is why I upgraded to the 5K Osram CBI bulbs. All the new German cars use them now and I can see why. They are just better than the sucky Phillips 4300K. Not only are they a million times whiter but the beam pattern is wider. And the lumens output is better than stock.

Knowing me ..... I'll probably end up doing just that with 2 sets of back ups when and if the first set goes out ????? Not so sure yet about the tax return ........ I can spend it on the FX or go craaazy shopping at LV or VS :wink (2):

I like the yellow on the fogs too :smile (2): and with the overlays I don't need them to constantly be on ! Here's a view of the fogs on with the yellow overlays .......... I'm thinking of still getting yellow H8s to make them that deep yellow look ?!?!

I do the same as chedman in regards to paying Uncle Sam weekly taxes. I've always over collected so I wouldn't give the goverment this " interest free " loan and use as much of my $$$ as possible. I've always paid taxes each year for the past 9 which doesn't bother me since I know to save a bit for tax time.
I know , I know a lot of folks say that they over pay taxes so it's like a little saving for them when they get their return however you really should be able to save without using this tactic IMHO !! I actually don't mind paying taxes because it means I'm making $$$ !!!
Ask that homeless person sleeping on the bench in Central park how much taxes he paid last year ?? If anything I would loooove to pay $10 million in taxes for 2013 which only means I probably took home $10 to $15 million which isn't peanuts ????

Actually if I really want to splurge I actually would buy a few things from La Perla which is so so much better than VS but it's stupid expensive :eek.: I have my eyes set on this babydoll which is over $200 and that's not even that bad in price ahem ahem !!!

I had purchased this off Ebay and applied it today :smile (2): I don't think it looks that bad and actually matches the Grey of my ride ......... fitting is a tad on the smaller side but this was more for a G35 but I figured I'd take a chance and try it for the Infiniti logo on my rear hatch !!
