OMG.Newb error. How to take off a door panel with doors stuck closed?

I was replacing the passenger side rear door lock actuator.

I forgot to connect the rod to the lock so the door is locked shut!!!



Any ideas on how to get it open again so i can take off the door panel and connect the rod?

Pry inbetween window & trim closer to the door latch with plastic pry tools enough to fish in a coat hanger & pull the rod. Ive done it on a rogue. Pretty sure its most likely the same.

Actually got the panel off forcefully without any damage! Thanks for the advice!
