Took my car for a oil change and they wouldn't do it due my oil sending unit being messed up?? Looks like a loose wire close to the bottom front of engine

Auto zone couldn't order one. Where would I get this? Is it hard to DIY?? Any help would be appreciated

You mean the oil pressure switch? If it is, it should be very easy to swap it out. If not at AutoZone, might need to get it from InfinitiPartsUSA.

You mean the plug with the wire, where you plug it onto the sender/switch itself right? Hmm, if it is, you will just have to cut the plug down enough to expose enough wire for you to reconnect the wire to it. Otherwise you'll have to "MacGyver" (hahaha) your own connector using jumper wires, silicone them in place and then cut the plug so you can connect the jumper wires to the wire in the car. Something like this

hmm never seen those before-I know how to splice but not sure how to get the plug ready to install a wire. I will prob go the magyver route tonight after my classes. The wire just came out :( so maybe the actual part is still good
