My 2004 FX35 had an oil leak that accumulated in the splash pan and also dripped on to garage floor. Turned out to be the O-ring on the oil cooler just behind where the oil filter screws on. Replaced O-ring and viola, no more oil leaking. O-ring is close to $10 at dealer, but much less online. Simple to replace...did not have to disconnect oil cooler lines.
