Synthetic. Almost any of the majors work well. Royal purple is excellent, not sure how much better than pennzoil or Mobil 1. Just stick with synthetic, change every 5000 , Infiniti says 7500 miles. Whatever filters are offered ought to be fine, unless you’re running the Baja 1000 in it

I use Mobil 1, change the filter every oil change, and don't keep it more then 7500 mil.
Royal Purple used to be excellent until they changed the formulation. The old formulation is now called Royal Purple HPS. This is not a knock on the current formulation, it is just not what it used to be.
I use Mobil 1 0w40 (European formula) with either a Mobil 1 or Purolater PureONE oil filter depending on which one I find in stock first. Whatever you do stay away from FRAM filters.
