Today was a rather big day for many photography pros and enthusiasts alike.
The almost 4 year wait is over and the Nikon D800 has been announced. Watching the trailer(http://vimeo.com/36345294) (filmed in Chicago sometime in the Fall) on Nikon's site, at 1:18, a 2nd Gen makes a brief cameo and (at least to me) steals the scene from the new camera.

Yeah, they really are. I saw that orange one at the gas station, and when I was filling up, I saw another LE turning onto Villa La Jolla. So many that I don't take photos of, and wish I would!

Nicely shot and pretty cool story line. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I think that was you I saw along Queens Blvd last Saturday or Sunday around 12:30pm. Tried to snap a shot but we're going opposite side

Could swear I saw Jonas heading westbound on 290 around 5:30pm Today when I was leaving the autoshow. White 2nd gen with big M plate.

I was in Chicago last weekend, but I was so swamped doing stuff for my parents I couldn't meet up with anyone....I was thinking there might be a chance someone noticing me then because I was driving a lot, but I guess not.
The huge laundry list reminded me I should be coming to Chicago more often.

I saw a red first gen yesterday! Second one i have seen in person. Really intense. my friend was like what the hell are you so excited about.
