I've noticed my fx50 seems to crank a bit longer before starting than what I expect to be normal. My fx45 had a similar concern early on and that was a known issue I solved with a new revised AC amp module that definitely reduced crank to start time. The cranking rotational speed on my 5.0 is very fast, it's just taking a second longer than what I would expect to fire up. Any others experience this?
My 5.0 is also noticeably louder mechanically than the 4.5. Nothing extreme but valve noise or something else seems to generate more mechanical noise at idle and while driving. If anyone can or can't relate, I'm curious for feedback. Currently at 60k miles running M1 5w30.
