I had gotten this from Aiya months ago and it sat in the garage. I finally put it in today. It works fine.....but does anyone know what the dash controls do???? I dont really understand what the buttons do???? Anyone on here have the oem ipod thing?

I also read from Johnmax that you can get the ipod to let you control from the ipod. But Im still curious as to what the buttons do and control what??? I already siffed through the 20 pages of the Org thread and didnt find anything.

I have an 2005.....

I know it's been a few months since you posted this, but if you haven't got an answer yet i can tell you the easy ways to operate the interface.

You would use the " Seek Track" buttons to go through the menu for you iPod (it is not used to select the next song you are playing). Once you find the menu, whether it your playlist, setup, artist, etc. you would then use your " Tune / Rwd FF" to make your selection. The "Tune / RWD FF button is also used to pick through the tracks.

If you want to shuffle you songs, you use the SETUP menu to select whether you shuffle the album or ramdomly. ( I use this feature alot)

My suggestion is to setup you playlist on iTunes so the songs are in alphabetical order. that way you don't have the same album and you don't have to set it to random eveytime you get in the car.( the Interface will not keep your ipod once you turned the car off)

Also you can not change songs or operate the Interface from the steering wheel. All you can do is change the volume.

If anyone has questions about the iPod Interface, go ahead an PM me.

Hey guy's, I had my interface put in yesterday and it sounds great. I purchased it from IPODCARPROS.COM and it cost me $139.00, free shipping (in the us). And bestbuy installed it for $95.00. It came with the instruction manual.
