I am having a very slight hesitation when running the car fairly hard (freeway above 80-85). Almost like I am loosing some spark or something with the tune. The plugs appear easy to replace so I am going to replace them before putting my UniChip onto the car.
Can anyone tell me the OEM spark plug specs, gap and part number? I am finding some conflicting information online.
From what I can find I am looking at; Denso Platinum plugs, .040 gap? $50-$80 fer the set depending on online or local parts store.

I have cleaned the MAF sensor and air filter but am also running a MantaRay intake, so I am going to put the OEM intake back on to test also. I have tried several types of gas, even dropping some octane booster in, ans still same result. Hesitation is pretty mild, almost like one plug is loosing some spark, or a mild knock sensor kicking in?

The spark plug info you have seems to be correct. Have you check the air filter on the MantaRay intake?

Cool! Thanks.
Yes I have checked the air filter. The intake has been on for about 5k miles. I cleaned the filter but didnt re-oil it. I did clean the MAF sensor.
Thinking it may also be something with the volume of air coming in at that particular speed when compared to the oem tune...

Hey Gus are getting the CEL at that speed? I've seen some where the CEL flashes which maybe a sign of misfire. So, check coil pack

No CEL. I get the slight "loss in power" at about 2200-2500 RPM between 50-55ish mph and 75-80mph cruising. Its not major, as in if you werent driving you may not even notice it.
Im going to put the OEM intake back on with a fresh air filter this weekend. see if that cures the issue as the only thing I have changed on the motor is a MantaRay intake. If that doesnt do it, Im going to replace the plugs and the knock sensors while in in there as they both appear fairly easy to do and not to expensive. I want to get the car 100% before slapping the uni chip on there.
