Odometer Recall

i called infiniti and they said there was no recall for my 08 FX35, we will see if they send a letter a few months from now
 
Beshoff said I have no recall and basically just said they could only test for an issue but that would cost me. Guess I'll just get it fixed at home over Christmas. Still have to go to them for an oil change though, but that's only 20 bucks.

Chris, can you give me any more info about it? Also, what are the last 6 digits of your VIN?
 
Everyone w/ tech, do you guys notice a discrepancy btwn your GPS reading speed on screen, & the speedo needle? On all occasions, my needle reads 4 mph faster than my portable GPS
 
I've noticed that my 08 is 5mph over my actual speed as well. I used a app on my droid after I noticed this going by a reduce speed radar. App on phone works perfect with other vehicles and 5 mph off for mine :(
 
Got the notice yesterday also. My fx is a 07. Here are pics of the letter. Sorry for the crappy cell pic.

Beshoff Infiniti actually gave me a call at work this morning letting me know about this recall. The affected years are 2007 and 2008. They schedule me for this Sat morning and said the work should be done within a hour and half.

Make sure they have the parts. These guys really need to get their act together. I've been there twice now and only gotten an oil change so far. :tdown: They even tried to sell me a cabin air filter change for $70. All they are getting from me is the $25 to do an oil change.

Same, I had mine done recently at Metro Infiniti and got a G37 Sedan as a loaner. I got the chance to work with Cheryl great Service Advisor might I add!
 
isn't there any help on this matter for the 05 FX? i haven't gotten a letter and i doubt i will. it's obvious though that our cars aren't registering the miles precisely.

Should only be 2007-2008.
