I need some advice from those who have replaced the O2 sensors in their FX. Im trying to find out if its easy to replace them and if there is a DIY on it since i dont even know where its located. Also, does anyone know the part number or direct fit better brand?

There are 4 O2 sensors in our cars. I don't recall there is a DIY. All you need to find out which one went with the DTC code and replace the sensor. All you need is an O2 Sensor socket (with a slid along the side of the socket to allow for the wire harness).

Sensor 1 Bank 1 is near the firewall on the passenger side across from the strut tower area in the engine bay.
Sensor 1 Bank 2 is under the intake air duct on the driver side in the engine bay.
Sensor 2 Band 1 is is on the Passenger Cat near the trans pan.
Sensor 2 Band 2 is is on the Driver Cat. near the tran pan.

Why are you trying to replace? Did you throw a code? They are relatively easy to replace (haven't had to on my FX but have done G35's.) Just be careful not to strip the threads, they can be pretty tight since they go through a lot of heat cycles and the lower ones see water/road grime. You can either get the O2 socket or a flare wrench (same kind you use on brake lines) works well too.

You unscrew them and unplug them. It's pretty straight forward. I think you need either a crescent wrench or a socket with a slot along the side for the wires. I want to say unplugging was a pain trying to avoid just yanking on the wires. I might have unplugged mine first and dropped the cat, then unscrewed and installed into new cat and plugged back in.
