Now

Lookin' sweet...I like them!
I can't wait until I can see them in person...hopefully next week when my wheels are done.

How's the ride with the 22's?
At least with the higher sidewall it should help.
How are the Falkens...nice tire?

I ended up ordering the Hankook Ventus RH06 in 275/45/20 again...I was happy with them on my 03 FX.

Much much better pictures Ege! Wheels style looks like a good match for the beryllium FX.

I also have a pro PB account and I just set it at 1280x960 and it seems to work fine. But I agree 640x480 is too low a resolution.

I just had to

Lol, that was funny.. I actually didn't realize until I looked it up in the other computer

22s with higher sidewalls is nice but it's really stiff. I think this is as soft as it gets with 22s. Falkens are nice but they're a little noisy for my taste. I wish I would get Yoko Paradas but for the price these were great. I think they'll perform well in snow as well.. Don't know if I'll use this set in snow but on occasional ones, it should be fine.

Thanks for all the compliments guys. Now I need to stop spending.. Really, I have to save.. I have to save.. I have to save.. I have to save...

When was that 09 brake retrofit again?!

nice pics, I just do the low-res so people can load them faster and don't have to scroll to see whole pic (even though you can do the "hold down CRTl and roll mouse wheel" trick to resize font). We all don't have 42" screens for our PCs like you big-baller!

Anyways, you got the large expense out of the way... next mods should be a breeze.

lol yeah.. I was thinking about these wheels about the same time as he was though.. He just acted quicker, a lot quicker.. Plus I think his were 22x10.5

Proud indeed...!! :top: I still don't have any regret about them as well.

Look great on your ride as well ege. Man i love your that berilyum color. Thought you were going for 20's at first but still decided to go for the 22's..??
Think it is the best decision though, eventhough i found out how the roads were around NYC :squigglemouth:
So you could order 4 pieces of 9's...?? Don't understand as they only wanted to sell me a combination with 9 & 10,5. Maybe they only want to selll the combo if you go for 10,5 and you can only order 4 pieces of 9's.

Enjoy bro you take good care of them

Thanks for the compliments Ray.. I ordered through streetdreams.org.. Where did you get yours? I would love to go with 10.5s as they were the same price as these but worried about rubbing..

As i told you prior true PM's i bought them true a collegue in belgium who was planning on doing Giovanna for Europe. But he stopped after having several issues with them concerning sales and amounts he had to buy. Nothing to say over their quality.....it was just a "exclusivity" discussion on wich they didn't come to any agreement with.
Unfortunalty our market is kinda different from yours. Euro people (asspecially dutch) are just to much of the OEM style,so you cannot make big sales here, kinda what giovanna expected to do here.
But anyway he had to buy 2 combo set's to get me the 4 pieces of 10,5 x 22's i wanted.
I also rolled / adjusted all the fenders prior, just in case , as i know i always try to go to the max
But eventhough they still don't look "small" on your pics. Did you mount any spacers already....??

Nope no spacers. I don't think I'll do the spacers anyways since I'm kinda tired of all the vibration issues I've been having for the last 2 years.. It looks fine now without the spacers. 285s took care of some of the space between outer side of the fenders and tires.. Thanks to Dave for the help.. I was planning to go for 265/40s which would look too skinny and tucked. It looks good with some good protection from potholes now.

Looking good, but I would still prefer a little more poke on them wheels....just preference tho.

But convex rims...pretty nice look...you need pix of you rolling to show those off.

Yes that's what i wanted to do also, but haven't been able still. It seems that they have a great look when driving. I always try to look in the windows of shops after hearing that, but it's still hard and almost got an exident couple of times

Seen them onces when a budy of mine drove it,but aren't that happy to lent it out

9 or 10

Those are really nice wheels. Your FX looks awesome!

Good choice. You wont rub either

I noticed your comment about tires not rubbing and that you have 305s. So I'm wondering what size are your wheels 9 or 10, etc? Im about to make a wheel purchase and the guy is advising me to get 9s, 265/40/22, but I would prefer 10.5, 285/35/22. I also plan to drop my 45, but I don't want to do any body mods. Im assuming that you are not having any rubbing problems with your current setup. Can you confirm you wheel width, no body mods, and no rubbing. Thanks

His are 305/35 on 22x9, mine are 285/35 on 22x9 and both are offset close to stock, ie, >35. Rubbing depends a lot on offset and then tire bulge. As long as you're not running aggressive offsets (less than 20), you should be fine. 22x10.5 on 285/35 will be too much of a stretch, I say go for 22x10 if you have that choice. If not, 285/35s look fine as well (I changed tires later):

I'm on 9s & most would say a bit oversized. I would never have gone this route had I been on the original purchase end, but that said, I might even renew with the same size again. It handles really good this way, & tire wear has been even all it's life. If I go smaller, I'll likely be hate'n the skinny tucked look. So used to this already.

Guys, thanks to you both for the great info. You both have a great look. Im partial the the Gianelle Spidero Black, but I love the stance of the 305s, looks very solid. I guess I was looking at the 10.5 because Ray's FX looks hot as well. Now at least Im informed so I can make a better choice. I think I've narrowed it down to the Gianelle Spidero Black and Diablo Wheels Spider Black. Thanks again.
