This thread feels strangely familiar to one created by the Mercedes guy who said he spit (or flicked his cigarette) into the other guys car then played the forum to gauge or test the members reactions.
Seriously, why would you post calling out something mod specific that you know would be inflammatory to a group of modification enthusiasts? The vast majority of the drivers on iS are focused on bringing their cars to the next level of performance at which some stage most likely involves lowering, be it springs or coilovers.
The community has a variety of ways of saying "to each his own" or "I might not do it that way but good for you", this thread seems counter culture IMO, maybe that's why it has dragged on.....
