I'm bit disappointed by Motordyne Plenum Spacer 5/16 ISO. Generally see no gain after installation. I've made a reset procedure of Body Computer, TB, and accelerator pedal and still nothing.
I've compared my moded FX with my friend's fully stock one and besides better sound of my car there is no difference :/

Any advice?

Because it does increase power slightly at a low price. If you got a tune, which you should wait until you do more to your car, you will probably feel the power gain. Regardless, the power gain is minimal minimal.

A reset procedure is not the same as an ecu reflash. with the spacer you are making some more power but nothing big to trump a dyno chart. like drew said, be patient, get all your mods done in order and get your ecu re-flashed. your car will feel more lively.

you will not feel anything until you get a tune. if anything, your FX is just running more lean now from the more air coming in. For now, itll just sound a little better

I did feel an improvement after installing my plenum spacer. Did not measure it on the dyno, but the feeling of a more open and free acceleration is there. I drove my car for many years without the spacer, so i was able to feel the difference after it was installed. Maybe you just are not sensitive enough to feel the difference?

Check your fuel economy as well. Mine increased by 0.2mpg - which is about four miles per tank OR one gallon of fuel every four tanks of gas. That is definitely a gain.

imma get the plenum spacer soon . n yea maybe your not sensitive enough to feel the difference . i felt a difference with just my k&n drop in and the z tube installed .

Ive compared my FX with two others / fully stock/ besides my sounds muuuch better, there is no diferent in acceleration. Tested on the road ;)

btw. Ive got CAI stillen + z-tube

On the highway I "went up against" another FX with similar mods. I had the 5/16 and he had the 1/2. Starting at 50mph, we both went WOT. I pulled away as we shifted into 5th, but in the top of the rpm range - close to 100mph, he started catching up and pulling ahead. I always attributed that to the differences in spacers, but I wouldn't claim road tested with one data point.

To say there is no difference without taking any kind of measurements... how do you really know? Perception? Butt-dyno, as we say?

I can/did feel the difference in my setup. Not sure why you don't or can't. Could be some other minor issue in your drivetrain that is leaching away the performance benefit of the spacer. Could be a hundred things, but if you check out the spacer testimonials they are almost entirely positive. I'm not one to follow the crowd but my experience convinced me.

OK. I do respect your opinion so think its time for reflash ECU. I've made some research and found SKN /tuner from Germany/. They offered me gain around 18 HP. They have turbo kits for VQ either but Im not ready for ($).

What TS in US offers?

Have you been watching your fuel economy for small improvements?

Reflashing the ECU is the best thing to do with or without bolt-on mods. You will be happy with that decision.

TS offers a VQ tuning package. You can send them your ECU and they upload the new maps OR they can put your car on a dyno ad tune the ECU using the feedback from your motor. This is the best way to go if you can have your car at the shop.

TS is only one example though. I had my ECU flash done at a local Houston shop on a dyno. Standard charges range from $400 - $700 USD for a VQ flash.
