Nissan to Pull Production of All Infiniti Models Out of Japan

it will take a long time if it does ever come to that. truth is, its not going to take a while if they need to build another plant. quality control is something they learned of with the QX56..... before the 2011 push back to Japan, the 2009-2010's were just incredibly built here in the US, compared w/ the issues from 2004-2006 for QX56's.

everyone is going global.

People love their Mercedes ML's and BMW X5/X3's built here with no issues

if they stay in Japan and the yen conversion keeps going this rate, the cost of any car built in Japan will be non-competitive

I sure hope not to go down with the quality of assembling the parts, generally when this happen the main mechanical components will still be made in the original factory (about 65% or more), the rest of vehicle which is about 35% will be done domestically and that will include the leather for seats and panels as well as the rubber hoses and tires, and I believe also the glass with the rubber seal on it.
