Hi guys, I imported an fx35 05 in Europe a year ago, now I have a problem when I use the brakes, I can feel big jolts in the pedal and the steering wheel.
I would like to change the rotors but I can't find infiniti parts here and I was wondering if those are compatible with Nissan Murano rotors or other vehicules from Nissan that are sold here in Europe?

Thanks for your help

Same here with Infiniti parts.....
For brake discs and pads i really recommend you to go have a look on ebay.co.uk
There you can find everything what you need from EBC, wich stands for good quality.

This is what i found for mine, 03 FX35 but your 05 should be same.

Front brake disc (set): EBC D7218 (320x49x28/26)
-Rear brake disc (set): EBC D7219 (308x62x16/14)

-Front brake pads: EBC DP61659 (SUV 4x4 6000 series)
-Rear brake pads: EBC DP61666 (SUV 4x4 6000 series)

If you do a search for the part numbers (D7218, DP61659, etc) you will find them, maybe even somewhere else on the internet.
What i could find so far for the Murano parts is that is not sure they will fit because sometimes they mention the dimensions of the disc or pads wich are a little bit different then for the FX.

Anyway, succes with the search!

I had a 1. gen FX for 5 years over here in Germany and the only problem I had during that time was the fact that I had to replace the front rotors every year. I tried all kinds of rotors (regular, drilled and slotted), but they all where warped after a while.

I have replaced my front and rear Rotors, my new Rotors from EBC are drilled and slotted ( Turbogroove Discs ) and the Pads is also from EBC ( Yellowstuff ).
The performance form the Rotors and Pads is good, no warped Rotors.

The cobination OEM Rotors and Yellowstuff Pads is also good.

Yellowstuff Pads
Front: DP41659R
Rear: DP41666R

Turbogroove Disc
Front: GD7218
Rear : GD7219

My front rotors where also warped, had to get them remachined wich made a hell of a difference.
But now i am close to the minimum thickness of the disc so when the are getting bad i also will change for EBC.
Read and heard plenty about this brand and all is good.

@BigS: I see you have almost the same partnumbers but i think you made a small mistake with the rear rotors, should be GD7219 right?

@ Wietse: Yes it´s a little mistake made by me, GD7219 is right!

The Yellowstuff Pads are much better as the Greenstuff Pads.
The Turbogroove Disc make´s a light squealing sound, but is not so wrong.

Ok, so the yellows are better. When i was searching around i found these ones saying SUV, so i guesed they will be special for heavy cars and trucks.

Thanks

Thank you guys for your help, I found another brand on oscaro.com
Brand ATE
Front ref: 24.0128-0153.1 (428153)
Rear ref: 24.0116-0122.1 (416122)

found these by searching for murano, the specs are similar to what I found on other sites in the US for the FX35

I will let you know if they fit well
