hey guys,

I wanted to talk about my lastest mods.:6wink:
Today I replaced my stillen headers with nismo headers, also the garage installed for me kinetix plenum for free, and said he'll sell it for me if i liked it.

I noticed a slight more end torque cuz i had stillen headers and MD plenum spacer. But the sound is AMAAAAAAZING!!:top: i think it came from the kintex planum for that i want to keep it!

What do u guys think about the plenum? is MD spacer better or i should stick with the kintex cuz i really love the sound

How much is the new kinetix plenum worth? and what do u think it worth used?

Thanks for everyone in advance.

As far as I know, Kinetix SSV is best for FI, not NA. On the other hand, it looks good and sounds good so if you're happy with the performance have fun with it..

edit: Just saw the plenum is temporary.. I would stick with MD spacer or if you have more to spend, go with MREV2 + 5/16 spacer. It'll give you better gains than Kinetix.

thanks edge for the replay,

I'll go try a few runs with my friend stock FX, if i noticed better performance ill stick with it.

Congrats on the new mods bro! How did you like the Stillen headers? Are the Nismo a better build/quality in your opinion?

No question that the Kinetix IM is better w/ forced induction. I would skip it unless you plan on going turbo, etc. It is very pretty for sure though! :top:

Nice stuff. the Kinetix was designed with FI in mind and there may be a loss in low end power but if you dont really notice it and you like it then stick with it!

how do you like the nismo headers?

Kinetix brand new will run probably $850-900, and used $600-700 from what I remember when I was shopping around for one. Of course it all depends on condition and whether or not there are noticeable scratches.

Pretty baller there to be swapping out headers like that lol... I just happened to be putting in a new motor and decided to buy some brand new headers that someone needed to get rid of, so instead of putting stockers back on when the motor was dropped back in, I had him put on the headers I got from a my350z.com member.

So as for the question regarding Kinetix vs. Spacer, I'd go with the spacer... unless I was doing car shows, the Kinetix makes the engine bay look a lot prettier

I disagree. Sprinkle diamond dust on your food and make your dootie twinkle. Similar scenario here with the Kinetix :6wink:

lol, reminds me of the time my aunt lost her diamond ring.
Searched everywhere to no avail, . . then they thought of the Pit Bull, 'Merlin'.
Went out back and scored a nice steamy pile. Gave it to the cleaning lady to do a little slicing . . . bingo . . diamond ring! Nassssteeee!
I yelled at her for not doing it herself, . . All said, it was a rather 'brilliant' idea :tinysmile_cry_t3:

I think if I were the cleaning lady I would have quit on the spot. I don't do windows and I don't do doodie :P

my aunt's a bit of a rich snob at times. I think her girl was used to it. That must have been one of the perks for working for her & living in a big 'ol crib. The dog ate everthing . . one time a box of those glow in the dark crayolas! . . . voila . . . GID shit piles for those late night shoveling episodes

Even if she wasnt that nite, I'm sure the memoirs stuck with her for some time. So next weeks Rice-A-Roni had a mystery ingredient . . . yummmm

Thanks for all the replies and sorry about that EGE haha

as i mentioned before i feel more end torque i dont know where it came from either the headers or kinietix.
I still think the nismo headers are better than the stillen but there is no big differece in performance i just wanted the nismo long time ago and got it now =D

I have noticed that the RPM stands on around 1100 on ideal after those mods, is it normal ?

ill try to post a video today

Reset your ECU, you changed a bunch of breather items, aka intake / exhaust, so if you reset the ECU you might see it drop back to where it used to be (700-750? At least that's where mine hovers around)

+/- 200 rpm off baseline 750, should be throwing you a CEL

1100 is way to high for a warm engine. Did you drop or clean your TB? Did you double check for leaks between the TB & Plenum? Forward the TB to the intake tubing is not an issue if there is leakage (re. TB being off)
