nismo exhaust

hnestly, with my experience, if you're going to get the nismo, and HAVE the money for a new one, get the new one. if not, and you need to buy used, try and get one that isnt too old or one that is close so you can inspect it.

Dopie, are you in the market for another exhaust? I got my Stillen True Dual from a guy on G35driver 2 weeks ago for only $450!! I Love it!

G35Driver:
$500 - y pipe flex's are scraped up...but the guy assured me that it is not leaking..located in Torrance

$600 - guy wanted my stock exhaust too, and it sounded like the guy wanted more. His exhaust is in good shape, and you still have to extend the tips.

whatever exhaust you buy that is made for a G/Z will need the tips extended. the Z version will need a extention piece after the y-pipe.

like I said before you will spend around ~$800 (Nismo exhaust ~$600, G extention ~$50, tips extended ~$150)

+1 For Stu

- If you buy a G exhaust, you should only have to extend the tips
- If you buy a Z exhaust, you have to get a 5" extension and extend the tips.

- there might have to be a tweak to the pipes here and there..but nothing a muffler shop couldn't handle.

I knew I might loose a little bit going with a Stillen TD. I haven't felt any difference and the tone is SOOOO much better. I did it because I love the sound it makes, very quite and deep on idle, and WOT it sounds soo smooth. TurboCad has said he didn't feel a difference when he went with the Stillen, and I checked with DeeCarp and he still loves his too.

Zero loss at the low end - if anything, gains across the entire powerband, though I don't have a dyno to prove it. Love my Stillen and will preach it to anybody who will listen!

I feel like I may have lost a little on the low end, but the throttle response is better so it makes up for it. I may not get as much power, but I get it sooner.

Stu, thanks for the correction on the Z/G extension ( I also fixed it on my post)
Also I wonder how your 1/4 times will be affected by the exhaust
Ya, I'm really hoping to get a run in before I leave. Guess I could do one during Thanksgiving if they are open.

I don't think I have heard a Stillen exhaust on a 35. any sound clips?
