NHTSA Recall for 09FX/08EX (CN#15V054000): Steering Column Tube may be Out of Round

My 09 went in today for this recall. I got a call saying that they are missing a part ....or broke a part. Car is overnight at dealer.
Hoping this recall is routine as my steering was heavy, but rock solid.

Did they give you a loaner Terry, and what Dealer do you use?

That's where I purchased my FX50. I had a couple things fixed up when I bought there and found their work to be very sloppy, they couldn't even do a oil change properly. I would never go back, If I go to a Dealer, I always go back to Guelph Infiniti, never a problem there, they fixed a couple things under warranty at Guelph that Newmarket wouldn't do.
Sorry to rant but they really frustrated me.

For the most part they have been very good there. I am chummy with the Manager though. Guelph is waaaaay to far from here for me. Lets see how this visit goes....... :)

The last time I was there the engine oil was leaking at the drain plug after they serviced it. I discovered it when I got home and it was leaking on my freshly cured concrete floor. I had to pull the drain plug, lose a bunch of fresh synthetic oil and put a new drain plug gasket on and more synthetic oil. They used the old gasket which was very obvious.
I also complained about my noisy AC compressor since I purchased it, they did nothing. I went to Guelph Infiniti and they noticed it and replaced it, no questions asked.
I would be careful going there.
 
Recall complete. Steering feels feels exactly the same. Had an oil and Drive line fluid exchange as well.
All seems well.
Another week wait to go for my refinished OEM's like Wayne's ;). I will wax up later this week in preparation.
Need to find wheel wax now.

Had the recall done last week. Afterwards felt fine but steering wheel was about 25 degrees crooked to the left. Before the recall steering wheel was straight and level. Went back to fix and now it's 5-10 degrees crooked to the right. Alignment before was good and had it rechecked was still good, so steering wheel just wasn't put on right. Maybe third time will be the charm? This is why I waited on the recall because stuff always gets messed up at the dealer....
