Hi everyone and happy new year thought I had better get on here as I have owned my Qx70s for about five months now and love it apart from one little issue I’m having which is the steering rack mounts.I noticed my car was following ruts in the road quite badly so a couple of days back managed to get it on a ramp and found my steering rack mounts are like jelly the rack is moving a lot from side to side.Now I live in the uk which I’m sure you now infinity has pulled out of Europe which is why the infinity brand is a great buy here by far cheaper than anything it’s equal on the market but I’m wondering has anybody else had this issue?and from what I can tell there’s three choices standard mounts (jelly ones) or it looks like people are fitting solid aluminium mounts if so how’s that going as regards to vibration and noise back in the car?or polycarbonate ones which I’m sure would be the better alternative but I’m struggling to find a supplier of solid or polycarbonate here in uk so my questions are what’s the best ones to go with and where the hell can I get them here in uk?
