Newbie wanting new wheels

Hi, I have recently purchased a white 2010 FX35 and wanting my first mod to be 24" wheels. So have anyone had 24s installed if so does it need to be lowered to look right? And what should be the best tire depth 35, 30, or 25 because I looked at a few site and their packages, some had 35 and some 25. Thanks...pics would be very much appreciated.

Welcome to iS! Check out Hollywood's thread, he has 24's and one of the few lowered 2nd gens.

I think fxp has 24s should chime in here soon. There are currently no lowering springs or coilover available for 2nd generations

Welcome.... 24s look nice on a 2G, but offers very little rim protection so keep that in mind.. As for lowering, there "should" be options in the spring for coilovers or lowering springs.. If you use the search function, you'll find some posts on 24s... See you around the forum.

Welcome bro!

And yeah right now there is no coilovers or lowering springs available "yet". But I've found that 24's fill the wheel gap very nicely!

Hey welcome to iS, and to answer your question there are lowering springs from eibach limited to 1" perfect since you want to run 24". I myself have 24" and I love it but no springs because I am waiting for eibach to release the 1.2 lowering springs. Here is my thread with lots of pictures to give you an idea. Let me know if you have more questions.///11069

oh and also to let you know if you are interested in the springs jump on them since PHONG from EIBACH told me that they are almost all goone, that is if you are interested in the 1" drop.

Thanks for the responses...and I'm surprised how well 24s filled in the wheel gaps. I do have a question for fxp35 what size tires did u used. I like ur rims btw

Put 24'' forgiato Concavo's paint the rim white and the lip black with a white pin stripe , it will look amazing!!

Hehe...that's wat I was thinkin white painted 24s wit gloss black lip and front grill. But ima play safe n use sum thicker rubbers(35)

I finally got my front windows tinted and paitnted taillights. Im about to pull the trigger on the flat black Giovanna Caracas with bolt pattern 5x114.3 so they will fit my 2nd gen but the problems are they're 24x10 all the way around and the offset is +38. My questions are will they rub and are they gonna stick out from the body of the vehicle?
