Newbie to the site

Hi Folks,

I got a smoking deal a few days ago on a extremely well maintained 05 FX with 25k miles which I just had to jump on. It replaces my wifes '95 G20T which had only 54K miles and got hit during the holidays.

My personal car is a 2000 VW Passat turbo which I've fully modded and plan to replace next year. I'm already seeing another Infniti in the family.

Blacked out Grilles

Are the 'blacked out' grilles sold that way or is there a procedure for painting them black?

I'm in aviation so I got access to lots of neat stuff..epoxy paints and primers included. I'm looking for the procedure if members have been painting the grilles themselves and also names of reputable companies who offer after-market and customizing items for the FX.
