Hey Everyone,


New to the infiniti scene, just got a 06 fx35 blk on blk. Love the car. Anything I should look out for in terms of maintenance? Thanks for the help. Cheers:beer:
 
Welcome to the Scene! For maintenance just the regular oil changes and occasional fluid changes and your set for 100k miles
 
Welcome to :iS:. Keep your maintenance guidebook handy, do the easy ones yourself, major ones at the stealership. Inspect your vehicle weekly for problems, wash your car every weekend so birds can have a good toilet surface for them to poop on.., the life of your vehicle also depends on your driving habit, the FX is one mean company. enjoy.
 
Thank you all for the warm welcome, I have a question about warranty, the person i bought the car from bought an extended warranty from an infiniti dealership and i was wondering if that is transferable? if so is it automatic or do I or the previous owner have to call to have the warranty transfered to my name? Thank u all for the help.

Another question I had was how many Vins are on the FX35? I can only find vins on the the hood and driver door panel. Where else should I look to see if the Vins are all there?
 
welcome to :iS:... i heard that applying armorall to leather seats and the wall of your tires can cause cracks and deteriorate when exposed to UV rays... use oil base products

I think one on the windshield, the metal plate under the hood, on the firewall by the engine, and I'm sure there are more.
